Today, the text toolbar that appears when editing text components sometimes block the text that is currently being edited. As a suggestion, we could move the toolbar to the top of the editor and make it sticky. General settings, such as font family and letter spacing, would still be in the right menu, but formatting, such as bold/italic and alignment, would be in the toolbar. See mockup:
